Girls who have had sex by the age of 14 are more likely to experience violence in their relationships. You never want to have a law named after you. In Indiana last month, a bill was signed that required high schools to develop dating violence education programs. The bill, called Heather’s Law, was named after Heather Norris, a young woman who was in an abusive relationship that began in high school.
